Cobblefield Point Condominium Association owners will soon be headed to the polls to cast their votes for the 2011-2012 Board election. There are five Board positions available this year and each position is a one year term. In the event of a tie, the member who first submitted his or her letter of intent will be elected. The election will be held at Ramshaw Real Estate (1817 S. Neil St. Ste. 101, Champaign, IL 61820). Owners interested in running for a position should send a letter of intent to Ramshaw Real Estate, P.O. Box 680, Champaign, IL 61820 or email Jay Ramshaw at jay@ramshaw.com. We strongly encourage all owners of Cobblefield Point Association to become involved in the election and our community. 2011-2012 Election Timeline April 29 Candidate Declaration – Those wishing to run for a Board position (owners or their spouses) must declare their intention in writing by 5:00 pm on this date. A brief summary of his or her qualifications for Board service and his or her vision for the community needs to be included in the letter of intent. The date the letters of intent are received will determine the order in which the names on the ballot will be cast. The declaration will be sent out in the following month’s newsletter. May 2 Meet and Greet- Come to clubhouse to meet and greet the candidates! May 9 Polls Open - Ballots may be cast in the office from 8:00am to 7:00pm.
